Welcome back Dear club members and warm welcome to the new families that have joined our community this summer.
We wish you all new families a smooth settling in and a great time here in Asia. We are happy to share with you all that last Tuesday our professional basketball training program for this season had started .
This season we are going to meet many parents’ requests, made last season, to cater more age groups in our program. As such, this season the club will cater the following age groups U7 Boys & Girls (1st & 2nd graders) and U10 (3RD & 4TH graders), U11, U13, U15, one team for each gender in each of the age groups.
The training sessions will be conducted at Excelsior (Emaar) International School on weekly basis, every Tuesday.
The schedule of the training sessions will be as follows:
- 6:00pm- 7:00pm
- U7 Boys & Girls team (1st &2nd graders)
- U10 (3RD & 4TH graders, Boys and Girls teams).
- 7:00pm to 8:30pm
- U11,U13,U15 (Boys and Girls teams of each age group)
As we are thriving to expand the club programs for the benefit of our kids, we are planning on opening Martial Art program, Judo or “Israeli krav maga”. This program is initiated upon the request of the parents to estblish a physical sport progaram in the club . A separate announcement about the program will be circulated to all the families in short time.

Warm welcome to the Israeli delegation to the YOG (Youth Olympic Games)
It was great to meet you all at the well organized reception held at the JBC . The reception at the presence of Her Excellency Amira Arnon, the Israeli ambassador to Singapore, the president of the Jewish community Mr. Sassoon, Israeli delegation and many of you dear families, was very exciting and filled our hearts with great pride to see you all gifted sportsmen and coaches . We wish you all great success in the competitions ahead , hoping for you to fulfill your expectations for this YOG, your desire to win the competitions and our hope to hear the Tikva as many times as possible.

Israeli film festival - We are most happy to utilize our club platform to share with you great Israeli cultural event – The Israeli film festival. We commend you all organizers and sponsors for bringing here- far from our home- a great piece of much praised Israeli films.
The festival will take place at The Picturehouse , from the 26th Aug’ to 5th Sep
We wish the organizers great success with this 18th Israeli film Festival here in Singapore “יישר כח”.
